Rebecca grew up in northern Indiana as the oldest daughter of Taiwanese immigrants. As a child, she quietly watched her peers, studying their mannerisms to figure out how to fit in.
These days, Rebecca prefers to use her observation skills to write essays and short stories and perform standup comedy. She previously shared stories of Asian American creatives and entrepreneurs at the height of Asian hate crimes during COVID.
Rebecca has studied and worked in Beijing, Singapore, and Taipei and holds degrees from Northwestern and UPenn.
